I was a professional figure skater and toured internationally as a Principal Skater with Disney On Ice for over a decade. In 2006, I herniated a disc in my lower back while performing. I started doing Yoga to get back in shape to return to professional ice skating. The more I practised Yoga, the more I wanted to learn.

I completed my first teacher training in 2010 at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City with Sri Dharma Mittra.  He teaches that "Yoga isn't about doing fancy poses” and that “Yoga without Yama and Niyama is like spaghetti without the sauce.” I always remember this whenever I share what I have learned.

Most recently, I completed Universal Yoga teacher training with Andrey Lappa. Like, Sri Dharma Mittra, Teacher Andrey teaches that Yoga is not just simply for personal fitness - it can lead to spiritual liberation.

In addition to teaching Yoga, I am also a professional ice skating coach.  Prior to coming to Australia, I taught both ice skating and Yoga in Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand.

When I lead a class, I like to focus on using the breath as a personal guide.  I like to challenge students to find their maximum, but at the same time, to be content with whatever that maximum may be.  The only thing that is constant is change.
